It was 6 in the morning, one day in june
All i heard was crying, too painful to be true
You're lying there, with the last bit of your energy
Grasping for air, a sight I wish to never see

And when you took your last breath I was there to witness it
But I won't ever get the the chance to repay you

And now it's been 4 years since I lost you
I miss all the things we used to do
I even left the town, my only home when you're still around
I hope you're proud of the person I've become
